Just like the rest of you, it's hard to imagine life without the Internet. But, I remember what life was like before it. When I joined the Peace Corps in Africa, the fastest communication home took one month (two weeks to get the letter home and two weeks for a return if the person wrote right away). Although looking back, I don't think I would have wanted it any other way, I'm so grateful for rapid communication today.
